Thirty five dancers recently gathered for a weekend to practice contact improvisation and enjoy the land. We had a wonderful kalimba workshop with our friends from Dance of Hope.

Learn the traditions and techniques of specific rhythms. This fall, students are learning Moribayasa, a song and dance from the Malinke people, in service to womens’ greatest hopes being realized. Drums provided, or bring your own. Join anytime, ages 13 and up.
Develop skills with this practice of sharing weight and exploring movement as a dialogue between bodies. Led by Cinthia Pérez Navarro, a member of the Chicken Bank Collective, who teaches CI internationally.
