Solstice Blessings & Work Party Plans at Dreaming Stone

Holiday Blessings, as we lean into

The Great Turning!

Above are images from some of the Dreaming Stone solstice altars last year.

We are circling back around to this time of embracing the dark with deeper gratitude for its gifts. We thank God for all things dark! Fertile soils, child bearing wombs, empty tombs, midnight prayers, compost heaps, drumming beats, black girl magic and black boy joy, and all dreams of liberation born under the shadows of empire. The luminous darkness has us singing praises to the Black Madona and the brilliant vision of the Magnificat and the political power of celebrating a child savior, born a homeless refugee. May we claim the gifts of darkness so that we can better usher in the coming light!

Join a workparty! Offer support! Help comes in many forms.

Helping hands and volunteer labor makes a critical difference. We’re building a deck and a dome for Leonardo, Romina and León, our artist and activist friends from Honduras who are rebuilding their lives here. We’re limiting numbers and keeping safe protocols, so please RSVP to join any day…

  • Saturday, January 8th: 10 am – 5 pm
  • Sunday, January 9th: 1 pm – 5 pm.
  • Saturday, January 15th: 10 am – 5 pm
  • Sunday, January 16th: 1 pm – 5 pm.

We have limited space for folks to spend the night, so let us know if you want to make a weekend out of it.

Put wind in our sails for 2022!

We are raising money for our annual fund which supports our operations. Also, these end-of-the-year contributions enable us to project the scale of our projects in 2022. Every gift makes a difference!
