New Programs at Dreaming Stone! And, Happy Carnival!

Juicy Updates… Upcoming programs…

And Happy Carnival!

This is a beloved day… where we flaunt what’s fabulous, relish subversive folk traditions, sing the Magnificat, and dream of tables turned and power structures flipped. We’re gonna party tonight! May all of our work of making a more beautiful and just world be filled with play, festiveness, and embodiment.

Tai Chi and Tea – starting in April
A Spring Series with Magi King!

Join a beloved local teacher and usher in the spring with this practice. Tai Chi is a soothing, slow moving way to work on balance, strength and mindfulness. Students will learn a series that they can take home with them, that is dedicated to the Pink Moon. After the practice, you may enjoy locally sourced teas, social time, spring reflections, and solo or shared walks on the land.

Garden Therapy this May, with Hannah Bundy

As a local horticultural expert working in extension services, Hannah is assisting new gardeners and food producers across the county. But her true love – creating beauty, connection, and community through shared time in the garden. Come make pressed flower art, learn some grounding practices, and enjoy a community meal. Time to refuel!

Please RSVP here.
We are grateful for the generous support that makes all this possible! There is much we will do this year, including hire an operations manager and launch our first youth camp! Please put wind in our sails by making a contribution today!

And a little update on the activities of
“the community at Dreaming Stone”
… still working on a name.
The start of the year was rocky as Covid moved through the community and weather complicated our work efforts. However, we successfully raised a dome! Dear friends came through to lend a hand… thank you Jimmy, Storm and Helen! Our community members Leonardo Moreno, Romina Memoli and their baby León have traveled to Italy, but are excited to have such an awesome home to return to. (We dedicated the space with a racuous dance party!) Also, we’ve made significant headway on the new solar array, thanks in part to Indigenized Energy Initiative and were honored to host Otto Braided Hair Jr and Otto Braided Hair III (Sonny) of the Northern Cheyenne, as well as David Riley. Lots of projects coming down the pike – like the building of the library and a sacred tree sculpture by the illustrious Zap McConnell. Also, lots of folks planning a visit! Keep us on your radar and let us know when you plan to come through!

Enduringly,
