Life updates from Dreaming Stone

Here at Dreaming Stone, we’re…

living into our calling!

It takes community! It makes community!

These are full times! House finishing work continues. The garden has been abundant! And, we’re so grateful to have held such meaningful gatherings that have been healthy and safe for all participants.

This newsletter holds reflections and some exciting news. We hope it offers a bit of hope and inspiration within your day!

Hosting our mentors and drinking deep from some living waters!

As expected – the Healing Haunted Histories event with Elaine Enns and Ched Myers was a potent exploration that is sure to be a  launch pad for more study, organizing and action.  All of the participants left with the new book, that we commend to you as well. The generous encouragement of this duo was fuel for our work! Our cups overflow!
Ritual and reflection woven together! Within a beautiful “Ritual of Remembrance” we honored those we’ve lost with an open space for storytelling. This collective expression of grief is powerful and healing.

The following morning we went down to the river to pray, sing, and claim vision – for the sacredness of water!

Both rituals will reoccur in 2022!
We are so glad to introduce you to the newest residents at Dreaming Stone – Leonardo Moreno Martinez, Romina Memoli, and Leon Moreno! These Honduran artists, activists, and spiritual powerhouses have stories and music to share! May you enjoy getting to know them as you visit, or track our programing on social media. We are thankful to all of our friends and supporters who are helping us provide hospitality for this family. Your contributions make a world of difference.

Exciting News!!!

We’ve got a website, y’all! The labor pains of forming our identity and designing an online presence are bearing fruit! It’s 90% done, but your eyes are welcome to it and I would love to hear what you think. Check out….

Programs for 2022 are forthcoming! Lookout for the end-of-year-announcements about all the good to come.  In the meantime… spread the word!

Support Dreaming Stone Today!

The seeds of Dreaming Stone were planted in my teenage heart, when I read “Letters to a Young Poet”, and heard Rilke beckon his mentee to “live the questions”. Here at Dreaming Stone, we gather together to live the questions!

It is precious work. In these precarious times, every life giving moment feels like a lifeline. While the journey has held challenge, we are counting so many blessings, and we count you among them. Thanks for tracking us and supporting us!
