Indigenous Peoples Day – Oct 8th

An educational event about Cherokee history and culture from Cherokee educator, Lianna Costantino. This is an opportunity to learn about the indigenous people whose story is a part of this land. We will hear an indigenous perspective on the honoring of Indigenous People’s Day (the following Monday, October 10th) and consider various steps in the journey of native solidarity.

This is a great introductory event, for those new to this topic and educational for folks with experience or familiarity with Cherokee history.
