Art, Ecology and Circus Camp – July 25th – 30th
Dreaming Stone Arts and Ecology Center is hosting a day camp for youth ages 7 to 13. Educational and recreational programming run from Monday through Friday, then family and friends are invited to a performance event and community dinner on Saturday evening, to experience what the kids learned during the week.
Instructional programs run from 8:30 to 2:30 pm every day. Extended activities till 5:30 are available for a limited number of campers.
Campers will be given daily instruction on percussion, circus arts, and nature – based activities. In addition, each day will include unique programs that support healthy imaginations, creative expression and appreciation for nature. If campers elect to stay the full day, they will have additional opportunity to ready for the Saturday performance, engage with crafts, or outdoor recreation.
This event is produced in partnership with Rutherford Outdoor Coalition and will feature local horticultural experts and special teaching artists. Campers will be served nutritious lunches and snacks and invited to build a culture of respect that values our diverse gifts and unique interests.
Costs:
Programmed Time (8:30 – 2:30) – $175
Extended Activities (8:30 – 5:30) – $225
