We are seeking a Circus Arts teacher, for our Arts, Ecology, and Circus camp, July 25th – 30th, in Rutherford County, NC.

This is a sweet opportunity for payment, teaching experience, growing your network, and retreating to a lovely natural setting amidst a hospitable community. While this is a day camp, the teaching artist will be given room and board in our lovely community house. Payment negotiated according to experience and accommodation needs.

The teaching artist would be expected to lead instructional time between 2 to 3 hours, Mon-Fri, then be present for a performance on Saturday. We are not offering aerial arts at this camp. However, we’d love for our campers to receive instruction in:

  • tumbling
  • partner acrobatics
  • juggling
  • spinning & flow arts
  • clowning, etc.

This is in service to a small town and rural population, with few compelling opportunities for youth. We are excited to offer this camp, and hope to repeat and expand programs for youth in the future.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We strongly encourage individuals with diverse backgrounds to apply. We  encourage our staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Interested candidates can email a resume to: [email protected] Application deadline is June 3rd. No calls please.

WHO ARE WE? The camp director and some staff were organizers of the Carnival de Resistance. We have amazing horticultural experts and youth educators part of the staff of this camp.
