Dreaming Stone Arts and Ecology Center is repeating its much beloved day camp for youth, ages 8 to 14! Educational and recreational programming will run from Monday through Friday, then family and friends are invited to a performance event and community dinner on Saturday evening to experience what the kids learned during the week.
Instructional programs run from 9 to 2 pm every day (we ask that campers arrive by 8:45). Extended activities until 5:00 pm are available for a limited number of campers.
Campers will be given daily instruction on percussion, circus arts, and nature-based activities. This year, Dreaming Stone is excited to welcome Tree Sa of Soma Tree Cirque Yoga to lead campers in aerial and flow arts. In addition, each day will include unique programs that support healthy imaginations, creative expression and appreciation for nature.
If campers elect to stay the full day, they will have additional opportunities to ready for the Saturday performance, engage with crafts, or outdoor recreation.
This event will feature local horticultural experts and special teaching artists. Campers will be served nutritious snacks and lunches from Dreaming Stone’s garden and will be invited to build a culture of respect that values our diverse gifts and unique interests.
Costs:
Programmed Time (8:30 am – 2:15 pm) – $225
Extended Activities (8:30 am – 5:15 pm) – $295
